  • Icon 148383 Frequent high-speed traffic coming from Grantham Road through this street in order to reach the Southfields estate. Street lighting is poor anyway so at night time especially this is a major problem should someone step into the street.
  • Icon 148382 Safe pedestrian and cycle crossing required here
  • Icon 148381 Safer crossing point for cyclists required. Allow cyclists to travel both ways down Banks Street to avoid busy roads
  • Icon 148380 Better access for cyclists and wheelchair users, without using the narrow ramp/switchback, to the pedestrian crossing into town.
  • Icon 148379 Wider bridge required for cycle safety to link Spa Trail with the town. Cycle path from.here down Coronation Wall and a better connection through At Mary's Square to the town centre
  • Icon 148378 Better signage for cyclists is required here, and a safe cycleway between the Spa Trail and the town centre
  • Icon 148377 A safe pedestrian crossing is required on this busy road for school access.
  • Icon 148376 A pedestrian crossing is required on this busy road, preferably close to the junction with the Bull Ring.
  • Icon 148375 This area should be closed to vehicles permanently to encourage cafe culture and safe shopping for pedestrians.
  • Icon 148374 Cars drive down here far too fast using it as a rat run to Southfields. There is only a single lane and often nowhere to pass. A couple of proper speed bumps would slow them down. When I said slow down to someone last week, that was going far too fast and almost hit me, he stopped as if he was going to get out and have a go at me. Fortunately there was someone else there and he just drove off. It is a major accident, probably involving a child, waiting to happen.
  • Icon 148373 Rat run to and from Southfields, constantly! Impossible getting in and out of car some days, and you take your life in your hands to wash your car! Some of the speeds rat runners do up and down here are horrendous, especially if a child was to step out, bearing in mind these are family homes. Needs making one way from Grantham road end. It would halve the traffic flow and make it much safer.
  • Icon 148372 A cycleway here links the milton cyclepath to Winterstoke road enabling safer quicker access to schools and shops.
